We did not do anything unusual with this bottle, but after a couple weeks of use, the bottom popped. The bottle is still intact, but will no longer sit on a flat surface. Sometimes I will use the bottle if I know I will have it in a bag the entire trip. The paint is more chipped than I would expect, considering it mostly sits in the cupboard.
